As the song goes, "It's the most wonderful time of year!" We begin on Thanksgiving (well maybe Halloween), we eat our way through New Year's Day...sometimes stretching it through Super Bowl Sunday. How can we refuse these beautiful meals and treats prepared by our families and friends? We certainly don't want to insult the cook. :) The average American gains 5 lbs. during the holiday season.
